Sam Kuhn

Sam began her dance journey at the age of 2 and started dancing competitively at the age of 5. She has been trained in all styles of dance while also being an alumni from the Cactus Shadows High School pom team. Throughout her dancing journey, Sam has always had a special passion for Tap.

Throughout the 19 years Sam has been tap dancing, she has had the opportunity to work and learn from many talented and influential tap dancers such as Gregg Russel, Ryan Lohoff, Aleksandr Ostanin, Zachary Kelley, Kelsey Rose Young, and Suzy Guarino-Hall. She has had the opportunity to perform in multiple Tap 24.7 shows, Tap’d Out shows as a hand-selected original member, has been selected to learn at Tap Into The Network events, and has been accepted to be a member of Team USA to compete in Riesa, Germany at the IDO World Tap Dance Championships.

Sam has always had a love for kids and plans to work with them for as long as she can. Aside from teaching, she is currently going to Grand Canyon University studying Behavioral Health Science as part of their honors college in anticipation to become a Children’s Play Therapist.

“I absolutely love working with kids and want to be able to watch them grow in many ways. Having the opportunity to become a therapist while also being a tap teacher gives me that chance!”
