KIM BARNETT
Kimberly started her dance training here in Arizona when her older sisters were in ballet class’ & she would stand at the back of the room copying everything they did. Convincing her parents she was ready to start her own class, Kimberly started dancing at 18 months old & hasn’t stopped since. Studying classical ballet till age 5, she then went on to study jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, pom & drill, musical theater & tumbling for the next 17 years. During that time she marched in parades, performed at Phoenix Sun’s basketball half time shows, competed in countless regional and national competitions, performed in showcases, charity events held at the Orpheum theater in Phoenix, as well as participated in several workshops, conventions & has worked with professional choreographers. After competing, Kimberly continued her love for dance performing with SAJE Jazz company for two years. She has also worked in film. In 2000 she danced & acted in the Hallmark movie The Lost Child. And has performed in the Mesa Arizona Easter Pageant.
