Kailin Metz was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She began dancing at the age of 5 at the Dance Connection Scottsdale, under the instruction of Lisa and Lori Waddell and also attended Arizona school for the Arts and trained in ballet and modern, under the instruction of Nadia Zubkov, Kee-Juan Han, and Ethol Diaz.

Throughout Kailin’s training she has worked with choreographers such as, Dee Caspery, Mandy Moore, Ray Leeper, and Peter Chu, and was a able to train a summer with “Dance with the force”, at the Edge Performing Arts, and another summer with Hubbard Street Dance in Chicago, Illinois. Kailin is now training with Jaci Royal’s company “Royal Flux” in Los Angelos, and performing with her sister Dana Metz. She has performed in shows in L.A. and New York such as “Shining” and “Beneath the Surface” by Jaci Royal, and “A look Inside” by Dana Metz. Along with performing, Kailin teaches and choreographs for many studios throughout Arizona. She aspires to continue to share and progress in her talent as dance is her passion.
